STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER ONE (1) GROUND WATER CERTIFICATE TAKE NOTICE: That Whitworth University of Spokane, WA, has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to add one point of withdrawal, change the purpose of use and change the place of use as granted under Ground Water Certificate No. 753-D. That Certificate No. 753-D authorizes the withdrawal of 550 gallons per minute, 150 acre-feet per year, each year, for domestic supply and irrigation of 20 acres. That the authorized point of withdrawal is a well located within the SW¼NE¼ of Sec. 18, T. 26 N., R. 43 E.W.M. That the authorized place of use is: "Whitworth College buildings and grounds at Spokane, WA." That they propose to add an existing well located within the NW¼NE¼ of Sec. 18, T. 26 N., R. 43 E.W.M. That they propose to change the purpose of use to municipal supply. That they propose to change the place of use to: "Areas served by Whitworth University." All within Spokane County, Washington. Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-($50.00) dollar recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from August 20, 2013.
