NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR ISSUANCE OF TAX-EXEMPT SPECIAL FUND REVENUE BONDS BY THE WASHINGTON HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AUTHORITY The Washington Health Care Facilities Authority (the "Authority") will hold a public hearing on November 17, 2014, at 9:00 a.m., in its offices located at 410 - 11th Avenue S.E., Suite 201, Olympia, Washington 98504, regarding the proposed issuance by the Authority of one or more series of tax-exempt special fund revenue bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $316,345,000 (the "Series 2015 Bonds"). The proceeds of the Series 2015 Bonds will be loaned to Seattle Children's Hospital ("Children's"), a Washington nonprofit corporation and "501(c)(3) organization" (as defined in the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended), to provide all or part of the funds necessary (a) to finance or reimburse Children's for the costs of acquiring, constructing, remodeling, renovating, equipping and improving Health Care Facilities (defined below); (b) to refinance and defease all or a portion of the WASHINGTON HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AUTHORITY REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2008C (Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center), and the WASHINGTON HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AUTHORITY REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2009 (Seattle Children's Hospital); and (c) to pay Series 2015 Bond issuance costs. Children's is or will be the initial owner or operator of all Health Care Facilities to be financed or refinanced with proceeds of the Series 2015 Bonds.
