NO. 14-0930 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON P R E L I M I N A R Y R E S O L U T I ON IN THE MATTER CONCERNING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO VARIOUS SPOKANE COUNTY FUNDS/DEPARTMENT BUDGETS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners pursuant to Section 36.40.100 RCW, may after duly noticed public hearing authorize supplemental appro-priations to the budget; and WHEREAS, Spokane County Elected Officials and/or Directors of Spokane County Departments have submitted a request for a supplemental appropriation along with the facts constituting the source of funds; and WHEREAS, the Chief Executive Officer has reviewed these budget requests and has forwarded the following submitted requests to the Board of County Commissioners with a recommendation for approval: a.Parks and Recreation - $54,000 (010-220037/41/43): Appropriate unanticipated aquatic revenue ($48,000) and Sponsorship money ($6,000) to support maintenance and operation costs. b.Emergency Management - $9,500 (010-0400009): Appropriate unanticipated revenue to purchase vehicle and equipment. c.Detention Fund #515 - $1,200,000 (515-5152110/2370): Appropriate increased housing fee revenue to support overtime and inmate medical and food. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. on said day in the Spokane County Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway, Spokane, WA 99260, be and the same are hereby fixed as the time and place any taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation of the money for the purposes set forth and contained in this resolution. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and this notice be published in the county's legal newspaper. ALL MEETINGS AND HEARINGS will be conducted in facilities that are accessible to all members of the public.
