ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Department of Spokane Public Schools at 2815 East Garland Avenue, Spokane, WA 99207, for the following Public Works project: Bid No. 21-1213 SPS - Portable Relocations - Summer 2013, Until 2:00:00 p.m. PDT, Thursday, May 9, 2013. Base bids will be received until 2:00:00 p.m. and held until 3:00:00 p.m. Alternates and List of Subcontractors will be received until 3:00:00 p.m. and will be opened and read at that time along with the base bids. Bids received after the above times will not be considered. Drawings and specifications and forms of contract documents may be obtained beginning Wednesday, April 24, 2013 by contacting Cortner Architectural Company, 1903 West 3rd Avenue, Spokane, WA 99201, (509) 363-1039. For information on other locations with complete sets of documents on file, call the office of the architect. A deposit of $100.00 will be required per set. General Contractor Bidders may have two (2) sets of documents. Landscaping, Earth-work, Mechanical and Electrical first tier subcontractors may have one (1) set of documents. The deposit will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders on receipt of plans and specifications for a period of ten days after opening of bids, provided the documents are complete and in clean and usable conditions. Attendance at the conference (walk-thru) is mandatory for all general contractors and strongly recommended for major sub-contractors. General contractors are required to attend in order for bids to be considered.
