RESOLUTION NO. BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION OF INTENT AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN THE MATTER OF CONSIDERING ESTABLISHMENT OF THE REALIGNMENT OF MAGNESIUM ROAD AND REGAL ROAD COUNTY ENGINEERS ROAD FILE NO. 2538 and 163 No Assessor's Tax Parcel Number Assigned - Public Roadways A Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Spokane County, Washington, ('the Board') declaring the intention of the Board to establish certain road- ways within Spokane County as county maintained roads; and fixing a time and date for a public hearing thereon. WHEREAS , it is deemed a public necessity and hereby declared that realignment of a public road, 44 feet wide tapering to 32 feet wide and approximately 1620 feet in length on Magnesium Road from Market Street west; and 32 feet wide and approximately 860 feet in length on Regal Road from Magnesium Road south, be laid out and established within the following described lines: Magnesium Road: A strip of land 90.00 feet in width being 45 feet on each side of the centerline of Magnesium Road as per the survey recorded in Book 133 of Surveys, Page 55 across the SI1/4 of the NE1/4 and the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 21 and across the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 22 all in Township 26 North, Range 43 East, Willamette Meridian. Regal Road: A strip of land 60 feet in width being 30.00 feet on each side of the centerline of Regal Road as per the survey recorded in Book 133 of Surveys, Page 55 in the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 22, Township 26 North, Range 43 East, Willamette Meridian. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that the County Engineer is directed to make a report upon the proposed road- way(s) to be established; set a date and time for hearing upon said report; and give notice of said hearing by publication of this Resolution in a newspaper of general circulation in Spokane County and post as required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board will hold a public hearing on: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2018 AT 2:00 P.M. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Spokane County Commissioner's Hearing Room Spokane County Public Works Building, lower level 1026 West Broadway Avenue, Spokane, WA 99260 The purpose of the public hearing will be for the Board to consider public testimony and take action on the County Engineer's report on the establishment, such road(s) to be established for maintenance purposes as previously described above. All persons who may desire to speak in favor of or object to the establishment are hereby notified to appear to speak in favor of or protest and to show cause, if any, why said Magnesium Road and Regal Road, as realigned , should not be ESTABLISHED for main- tenance purposes as provided by law.
